Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet (APPJ) 

The APPJ technology is a newly developed low-temperature plasma discharge technology by which an unbalanced plasma jet can be directly produced at atmospheric pressure. Unlike conventional low-temperature plasma technologies, the APPJ technology does not need vacuum conditions and has the advantages of low temperature, high chemical activity, good controllability, and simplicity of the plasma generator.
